Call for symposia proposals and paper submissions

The TeaP Organizing Committee invites all professionals to submit abstracts for symposia, individual talks or posters starting now. All papers will be evaluated and selected by the TeaP Scientific Committee. Final decision will be notifed by email to authors by December 15, 2016.

Abstract submission deadlines are as follows:

Submission of Symposia:                            October 15th, 2016

Submission of individual posters/talks:     November 15th, 2016

Information on symposia and individual talk submissions:

Time slots for both individual talks and symposia contributions will be 20 minutes (15 minutes presentation, 5 minutes discussion). All authors who want to present a talk must submit a title and an abstract (2000 characters max.). Co-authors should be indicated in the course of the submission process.

Symposia may comprise either 4 or 8 talks addressing an overarching topic (in case of 8 talks the last slot can be used for general discussion). We kindly ask symposium organizers to use the separate symposium-abstract-submission-system on the website for their submission. Symposium organizers are required to submit a symposium title and a symposium abstract (2000 characters max.) alongside with a list of all presenting contributors and a working title for each contribution as well as the name of the potential discussant. Please include the list of contributors right after the symposium abstract in the "content" field of the symposium submission system. We further ask symposium organizers to indicate the presentation order, when submitting their symposium. Only symposium organizers and potential co-organizers should be listed as "authors" for symposia submissions. Symposium organizers will be informed whether their symposium proposal was accepted or not at November 1st. . The conference program software unfortunately does not allow to upload all talks of a given symposium in a single step. We therefore need you to approach the speakers of your symposium an ask them to provide all information (including abstract) individually. They have to be registrated as user (click "your Submission", choose the right symposium, fill in all required boxes) .

Information on poster submissions:

A title and an abstract (2000 characters max.) are required for poster submissions. Co-authors of poster submissions should be indicated in the course of the submission process.

Poster size:

Portrait format: 1,4 m (h) x 1,0 m (w). Note: Due to space restriction, you will not be able to present a poster in landscape format.

General information on the decision process:

If possible, the TeaP Scientific Committee will follow the presentation form the submitting authors suggest. If the number of submissions exceeds the available space, however, we will prioritize on high quality contributions. There will be three poster sessions and we thus hope that we are able to accommodate most submissions at least as posters. Please note: only one contribution as first author can be submitted.
